Low Profile Wand Tilter for 2 Horizontal Blinds

To ensure you receive 2 wand tilters, add a quantity of 1 to your shopping cart. Before placing your order, please measure your blind headrail. The wand tilters are designed to fit inside a headrail that is 2.25" wide and 1.5" tall and have a hexagon shaped gear hole in the center. This specific shape requires that the metal rod inside your blind's headrail is also hexagon shaped to properly fit into the gear. The diameter of the hexagon shaped gear hole is 1/4".

If you need to replace a wand tilt mechanism, you'll need a steel tape measure and pliers. Start by removing the blind from the window and laying it on a flat surface. If the wand is still attached, take it off and set it aside. Measure the height and width of the metal headrail to ensure compatibility with the wand tilters. Use pliers to remove any end stiffeners on both sides of the headrail.

Next, slide the metal rod out of the gear of the old wand tilt mechanism. If the metal rod has a hexagon shape, with 6 sides and 6 corners, then the wand tilt mechanism is suitable for your blind. Gently spread the headrail to remove the tilter from it. Install the new tilter by placing it in position and sliding the metal rod through the center gear hole. Reattach the end stiffeners, wand, and hang up the blind. Your replacement process is now complete.
